About me

I have over 20 years of experience supporting individuals in different stages of their lives, before training as an Existential-Analytic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. My work has spanned across creative industries, academia, and the arts, including a role as a students’ counsellor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

My training in psychotherapeutic counselling draws on different approaches to therapy, including phenomenology, existentialism, psychoanalysis, and person-centred therapy. This allows me to utilise the most valuable and relevant aspects of each approach in my practice.

If I were to sum up my way of working, I would say it begins by acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual’s experience, especially in relationships with others. From there, I incorporate a wide range of ideas – from art and popular culture to established theories – to help make sense of that experience and gain greater clarity.

Together, we’ll embark on a personalised counselling journey designed to address your specific needs and goals. By exploring your unique life story, relationships, and individuality, we can identify what might be holding you back and work towards empowering you to live a more fulfilling, authentic life.
